The iPad 3 has Arrived, Test and Keep One

The mystery about the new iPad is revealed, Apple introduced the new generation of its iPad. The Apple fans around the world speculated that the name of the new gadget could be "iPad 3" or "iPad HD", but the device was introduced as the "New iPad".

The main changes to the previous model are:

• Retina Display Screen with a resolution of 2048 by 1536, and 264 dots per inch
• New processor, A5X, quad-core designed specifically for the new screen
• New 5-megapixel camera
• Possibility of recording video in 1080p HD

Why did they simply name it "New iPad"? According to the Apple Product Marketing vice president, Phil Schiller, given the incessant rumors that circulated during the weeks before the launch about the name of new 'tablet' they chose the simpler name because "we do not like being predictable."
